French-Italian meeting for the European Seconde class
In an eTwinning project with our Italian partner “Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore Margherita Hack” in Rome, pupils in the second European section met their pen pals virtually. Throughout the year they will work on the creation of a Franco-Italian website on the theme of sustainable development.
Prior to this meeting, the students had prepared a video presentation of their school and themselves. This first meeting was eagerly awaited and this is what they thought of it
Today we met for the first time, we talked for 1 hour and what a surprise to see that we had a lot in common, we talked about food, music, sports and even Rubik’s Cube! Our correspondents had to leave after an hour, we didn’t really want to leave them so we exchanged our different social networks to keep in touch. It was a really nice meeting, we had a great time.
The pupils will now work on setting up their project and another meeting is already planned for February.
In addition to the meeting with their Italian pen pals, the students were able to attend the virtual exchange between 3 students of the 1st general year of the school: Noah Valle-Fernandez, Rémi Martin and Tom Gaudière with their pen pals from the KR Mangalam GKII school in New Delhi, India. This meeting was the culmination of a joint project on renewable energies in France and India. Noah has also created a website presenting this project. All the students had a really good time.
A morning rich in exchanges and discoveries for our students
